Why Is Pantocid HP Prescribed For H.pylori Infection?

Hello Doctor, I have been tested positive for H. Pylori.. and my current consulting doc has prescribed me Pantocid HP medication. I was also tested positive for Fatty liver but my doc is more intrested in talking about the liver and unrequired scans rather than H. Pylori.. could you please guide me and also please tell me the what will Pantocid Hp medication do for me... My email address is YYYY@YYYY

Hi thanks for asking question.

You have prescribed pantocid HP that contain amoxycillin and clarithromycine drug combination that is specific for h.pylori.

So your doctor concerned about H.pylori and you are given correct drug for treating it.

As far as fatty liver is concerned you need following life style modification to relieve from fatty liver.It might take 12 month approx to relieve it.

Take more fruit juices and more water.
Void refined sugar and refined food like pastries, while bread etc.

Avoid trans fat like butter, cheese, pork and beef meat , fried food etc.

For cooking use minimal oil.Use only omega 3 fatty acid containing diet like safflower oil , sunflower oil, olive oil etc.

Limit alcohol intake.

Regular do 30 minute exercise like jogging , running etc.
