Why Is STD Not Detected In Men And Detected In Women?
Hi. I went to the doctor and found out i had Trick (STD) i told the guy i was seeing. I was treated and they symptoms went away. I went back to the doctor to make sure. He went to the doctor and was told he didn't have it but he was treated. I came back three times and everytime the same thing he was told he didn't have it. This last I was treated and I haven't had unprotected sex with him. It hasn't return, He keep saying that he don't have it and he wasn't treated this time. Is it hard to detected in men because he give urine and I am swabbed
Hi, Welcome to HCM. Certain STDs are obvious to detect in men (Trichomonas) whereas certain others are not manifest externally in women (ulcerative STD). That depends upon the anatomical structure of men and women and also on the organism nature. Treatment relapse is possible with inadequate treatment and resistance to anti-microbial drugs. Dr.Murugan
