General & Family Physician, Dr. Amarnath's Response
thank you for your query. for old aged people i always recomend going to a physician and be examined by a doctor before taking a medicine. usually old persons might need a lesser dose for his or her ailment.and it is always better in old persons to start from a lower dose to a higher dose many people will not tolerate higher doses also that might also be the reason after purchasing the drug you might have gone to the doctor and might have enquired about this to your treating physician. he might have explained in depth hope this explains
