Why Is A Susten Injection Used?
myself 23 years women and I am housewife. I am pregnent this for fourth time and my doctor is giving susten injection after three days.And I dont want to get aborted this time again I dont have a child. Also please say susten injection for what purpose.Thanks Doc.

Susten is a progesterone analogue. Progesterone is a hormone which maintains many stages of pregnancy. Do not worry it is only a matter of time and you should be able to deliver a healthy baby. Just check the status of cervix-sometimes cervical incompetence would also risk the chances of abortion
