Why Is A Child Underweight & Slow In Motion?

My daughter is 9 months old, can t even remotely sit up, crawl, or anything. She s very underweight and she always cries and holds her hands behind her head like it hurts. She doesn t have a whole lot of facial expressions and she always has her legs spread, and won t stand on them. In the walker or bouncer she refuses to put her legs on the ground. She s like a newborn in a 9month old body. We have seen so many doctors and they all said she s happy and seems a little slow but it s okay. I m so worried though and I don t know what s wrong. Help?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for asking.
I can understand your concerns.
On my opinion your child is definitely having developmental delay. He keeps her legs spread so she may be having hypotonia. I would suggest you consult a developmental paediatrician or a paediatric neurologist to exactly diagnose the cause of her developmental delay.
Then according to the diagnosis she must be put on the physiotherapy to attain the developmental milestones.
I hope I have helped you.
