Why Is An Endoscopic Test Used In Gastric Problems, Headaches And Typhoid?
Hi my brother in law undergoing typhoid treatment for the last 3 weeks. But frequently he is facing some kind of gastric problem, head ache. Now Doctors prescribed him endorscopic test. We are worried much now. Is it something because of Typhoid or due to any other problem. 2 months before his BP got suddenly shoot up to 210 and after some weeks of time, diagnosed Typhoid. Please help

Hello, Typhoid may cause ulcers in the intestine or bowel obstruction. Typhoid may lead to ileum perforation in children or in few immunosuppressed patients. Also possible that he may be suffering from peptic ulcer disease or gastric outlet obstruction. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
