Why Is An Infant S Eosinophil Count Low?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type you                                                        my nine month baby was order a routine bood work, because we live in an old house. Everything came back normal except for her eosinophi count...it is in the low 30 s!!!!! What shoul we do?

Hi dear,

A low eosinophil count has no significance unless he is having fever or other symptoms like fever or overweight(it can happen in conditions like typhoid fever or cushing syndrome). It is the high eosinophil count that is of more concern

So, if he is otherwise fine, just leave it. Nothing to worry
