Why Is Blurry Vision And Pain Not Healing After Medication For Corneal Ulcer Below My Pupil?
Hello, I have a corneal ulcer below my pupil. It is fusarium and I've been on natamycin for almost three weeks now. My eye doc says it looks better and reduced my hourly dosage to once every two hours instead of every hour. I'm concerned with the blurry vision and pain not going away yet. Does the blurry vision eventually go away or is something I'm going to need corrected or may have to live with when the ulcer is healed? Thank you Sir
Hello It seems from the history that you are having fungal corneal ulcer which is responding to treatment. The blurring of vision is because of corneal ulcer and it will decrease as the ulcer heals. If the ulcer leaves a corneal opacity the vision will improve after treatment of corneal opacity.
Thank you
