Decolic injections are given for intestinal colic, dysmenorrhea may be for ureteric colic. It gives you immidiate relief. But it may not treat the cause of colic. In your case it seems to be either constipation or infection or may be ureteric colic. In fact if you are constipated your condition might deteriorate after the effect of drug passes of as it may cause atonic constipation. You have not given any details of type of your pain. So go thouugh investigations as to why this is happening to you so that you can be treated accordingly. Till then have plenty of oral fluids and fiber rich diet. You can add laxatives at night if you are constipated.
