Why Is It Paining And Bleeding While Urinating?

Last night I had blood in my urine associated with pain during urination. I urinated 20 times at least in the span of a couple of hours and the blood seemed significant. This morning, there doesn't appear to be any more blood, but it still is painful to urinate. Since the blood is gone, should I still see my doctor today?

Hello and thank you for asking Healthcaremagic.

The symptoms that you describe correlate with an urinary tract infevtion or even stones on your bladder.

You should do an ultrasound of your urinary tract and an urine test to confirm the diagnose. Depending from the results you might need or not antibiotics.

So yes,consult your doctor today.

Wish you good health.
