Why Is My 15 Years Old's Penis Is Small And Bent To Left?

My 15 year old son has confided in me that his penis curves to the left when he has an erection. He says he does not experience any pain. He also confided to me he is concerned that his penis is too small. I can say with all certainty that he has not been sexually active with any girls nor has he had any trauma to the penis. Should I take him to see his doctor? Also what stretching exercises are recommended for this problem?

Hello,

A slight bend is normal and does not cause any problems in the future. However, you can take him to a urologist and get evaluated to rule out conditions like chordae or contractures even though they are unlikely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
