Why Is My HTLV I/II Positive And INNO-LIA Negative?
I donate blood for a while and now I received a letter that I have HTLV I/II. 1st screening was postivie and when they did a secondary test called INNO-LIA it was negative. Can you tell me what this HTLV actually suppose to be. I am going to call my primary Dr. and make an appointment with him, but this has me concerned.
HTLV is a type of virus which affects the white blood cells. full form of HTLV is human T cell lymphotropic virus. it generally causes cancer of white blood cells.
so my advice for you is to please consult a Oncologist at a nearby centre and take appropriate preventive measures suggested by him.
all the best and hope i have cleared your doubt
