Why Is My Child Burping Foul Smell With Vomiting?

My 4 year old was throwing up 2 days ago, she was fine yesterday, then last night was burping these foul smelling burps and we are up now again because she keeps getting the trash can like she thinks she's gonna throw up and she burps more loud foul smelling burps. What could it be? I gave her a tums but it is not helping

Hi

It might be because of indigestion that usually happens after over eating or after eating fat or protein in excess. These food stuffs tend to remain in the stomach for a longer time hence delaying the digestion.

If she vomits once or twice, she will be fine.

You may use medications like Domperidone that will make the passage of food to intestines a bit faster and abort nausea.
