Why Is My Cycle Gone Wrong After A Miscarriage?

Hi, I guess I'm confused at where my cycle is. Last november 4th I had to have a d &c as my pregnancy had ceased at 13wks. Iam getting my period regularly again, but haven't been able to fall pregnant yet. I never had a problem getting preg in the past, within 1-2 cycles. Could you tell me is what I'm experiencing normal?? Also I have been using OV strips, last month I saw a surge around 15days into cycle, but this month I havent yet and its 16/17 days...so confused.

Hi. Periods can become irregular after getting D& C done. As seen from your ovulation days you are experiencing some luteal phase defect. It is not always necessary to conceive every time once you take a trial even taking care of your ovulation days. So, don't get disappointed and take fair trial for about 6 months or so, before getting investigated. This is normal. You may take luteal phase support after consulting your dr. I would also advise you to take the help of your dr. to get investigated for the cause of previous mishap. Thanks and take care.
