Why Is My Face Swollen After Taking Antibiotics For Strep Throat?

Hi I was given antibiotics for strep throat and I finished those. My crown started to hurt so I went to the dentist and they give me antibiotics again. It’s was 5 days since I finished antibiotics for strep throat. I started to take the antibiotics the dentist gave me because my face was swollen so now I’m feeling sick from taking the antibiotics I was wondering if it was a bad idea to start taking antibiotics again. Do I stop or finish taking them ?

Hi,

The swollen face after strep throat was probably due to dental problem. The repeat antibiotics advised for dental condition needs to be completed to take care of dental problem. So complete it but accompany it with lactobacillus preparation (like Nutrolin B Plus, once a day). It will prevent weakness and lack of resistance after the ill health.
