Why Is My Follicle Not Rupturing Even After Injections?

Hi, I am 30 years old, and trying for baby since 3 years. Today is my 16th day. Did my follicular study on day 15th, the follicle size 2.2x2.4 but it is not ruptured still. I took 2 rupture injections on day 12 and 13th ? any reason why the follicle are not getting ruptured.

The hormone responsible for the rupture of follicle rupture is Luteinizing hormone (LH).
The size of your follicle is adequate for rupture.
It is difficult to comment because I don't know the name of the injections you have taken for rupture. Mostly it seems to be Inj. hCG (human chorionic Gonadotrophin).
This can be case of LUF Syndrome, ie, Luteinized Unruptured Follicle Syndrome also known as " trapped egg syndrome". Though it cannot be confirmed by 1 cycle only.
The syndrome is seen in females with endometriosis and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
It is a rising cause of cases of unexplained infertility.
However the treatment part does not changes much so you should not be worried much. Increasing the dose of hCG is one option which can be tried. The ultimate answer is IVF, ie, In Vitro Fertilization.
Take Care. Stay Healthy.
