Why Is My Grand Mother Feeling Dizzy And Having Breathing Problem?

I just spoke with my grandmother, who is approx 90. For about a week she has been complaining of feeling dizzy, like she could pass out. She has seen three physician who can t find anything wrong. She is also complaining about a pain in her ear. But they can not find a root cause. She just shared that she has been waking up at three in the morning, trying to catch her breath for the last two days.

There are many causes for Dizziness, from simple and easily treatable causes to serious causes .

Simple causes are :

1. Abnormalities in BP: Both high and low BP can cause dizziness.
2. Abnormalities in Blood sugars: Both high and low Blood sugars can cause dizziness.

3. Abnormalities in blood sodium levels.
4. Low Hemoglobin ( Anemia )
5. Inner Ear problems .

Some serious problems are :

1. Heart Problems
2: Brain problem

Breathing difficulty could be due to Anemia , Allergy , Heart or lung or kidney problems



Get your Hemogobin , Serum Creatinine , Chest X ray, Serum Sodium levels, Blood Pressure , ECG , 2D Echo and a ENT check up done .

Revert back with the reports.
