Why Is My Husband Limping And His Knee Making A Weird Sound?
HI, my husbands knee was making a weird clicking feeling for a few weeks, i could feel it if he bent it while my hand was on his knee. shoveling the snow two days ago he now is limping / hopping everywhere and it is very swollen, feels like fluid underneath (very 'squishy').

It can be a meniscus tear. Is he having any difficulty in walking or running. Is he able to sit with knee bend. If it is not there then it can be a meniscus tear. I would like to suggest you to get MRI of the knee joint and see if there is any abnormality. If it is present then treatment can be done with the help of arthroscopy.
