Why Is My Leg Swollen?

I have a swollen area on my left leg that dr said years ago was a fatty tumor but since having gbs my leg swells all the way down and hurts really bad. Was totally paralyzed with guillian barre in 2009. Have full use on my body now. What do you think about my leg staying swollen?
