Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a swollen area on my left leg that dr said years ago was a fatty tumor but since having gbs my leg swells all the way down and hurts really bad. Was totally paralyzed with guillian barre in 2009. Have full use on my body now. What do you think about my leg staying swollen?
After gullian Barre syndrome, because your muscles are not working so DVT can be a cause. You should get a arteriovenous doppler test. This will tell us that if blood is getting stagnant in calf and causing swelling.
