Why Is My Sister Gum Painful And Bleeding Since Tooth Removal?
Hi, my sister had a tooth removed yesturday and she is abit worried as it does keep bleeding but her main worry is that she can see a white spot where the old tooth was. She says it is Very painfull. Will she be okay or should she see a doctor or go back to the dentist?

Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM,
I have gone through your query, as you have painful gum and white spot in place of removed tooth dont worry that can be periodontal flap of tooth or it can be due to dry socket also .
If socket is painful and foul smell is there then consult dentist for irrigation of socket and Zinc oxide eugenol pack .
In meantime you can do betadine gargle two - three times a day
