Why Is My Skin Dark From Side Of The Nose To Inside Of My Eyes?
Hi, the skin is very dark from the inside of the bridge of my nose to the inside of my eyes. I have a good skin care regine. I think I may be lacking in a vitamin or mineral. This is a big concern as the area is getting darker and larger. I sleep well, and drink suffiant water. What am I lacking? Thanks
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your case history, you are having facial hyperpigmentation. My treatment advice is:
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with SPF more than 30. 2. Apply a kojic acid cream like kojivit twice daily on affected skin. 3. Take a vitamin C supplement once daily for 3 months. 4. Other treatment options are oral multivitamins, topical steroid cream to be taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harshit Bhachech
