my son age 7 years having the problem not able to read the small letters from the last 10 days and after eye check up doctors instructed to wear the GLASS for the Power +2.5. last two days he is wearing the glass but still he is struggling and he is not able to copy the lessons in a class.Kindly suggest.
Hello It seems from the history that your son is having refractive error in the form of hypermetropia as the correction required was +2.5 dioptres. As he is still not able to see the small letters, this indicates under correction or inappropriate correction hence requires evaluation by a ophthalmologist or a optometrist to calculate the refractive error. The refraction has to be carried under cycloplegic eye drops to find out the exact refraction. The other things that needs to be ruled out are ambylopia or lazy eye which if present requires treatment by occlusion therapy.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
