Hi, Noted the history of sticky poop like gum, doctor told you about lazy bowel system, wants to know whether this has anything to do with it or not. It is uncomfortable feeling. There has to be reason for such an abnormality, which possibly can: Chronic amebisasis, ulceration in large bowel, polyposis, intolerance to something specific that can be found only on proper clinical evaluation tests of stool, blood and urine; ultrasound and other tests as may be needed. You can be started with an antibiotic and Metronidazole and there may be complete recovery. If not and something positive is found, it is better to get properly treated and cured.
