Why Is My Toddler Holding Her Breath, Arching Her Back, And Isn T Controlling Her Head Or Meeting Typical Development Milestones?

Hi, My daughter is 4 months old now. She didn t cry when she born, she cried after couple of minutes only after pumping oxygen for sometime and she was in ICU for 10 days with oxygen support. She often holds the breath whenever she cries almost 5 to 7 times in a day and each episode sustains for 60 seconds and she bends her head and legs towards back (like a bow) by stretching her hands and legs to the extent possible during the entire episode. She gets very tired almost unconscious for few seconds just after the episode. We are not sure how to handle her during this episode and we don t know the reason and solution for this problem. Just to add, though she is 4 months old by now, she is not yet controlling her head and this doesn t look normal. Mother feed is good and she also takes lactogen in case of lack of mother feed, she sleeps well in the night. She flips her hands often when she is awake which doesn t seems to be normal as well.... Please help us here and share your thoughts and suggestions.
