Hallow Dear,
It is very unscientific and pessimistic to come to any conclusions like this without having any medical investigations done on both of you.
Clear semen to naked eye gives no information about the quality of the semen. Please get his semen examined from the laboratory after 4 days of sexual abstinence.
You will have to find out whether you release the eggs normally, whether your reproductory organs are patent and whether your uterine lining (endometrium) is conducive for
implantation.
Though there are many tests to find out the evidence of egg release, I prefer to monitor ovulation by
ultrasonography from day 9 onwards till the ovulation to start with. In addition to the evidence of ovulation, it provides some more vital information. It tells us what was the size of the follicle before it released eggs. Follicles between 18 mm to 21 mm size discharge the healthiest eggs which have maximum possibility of successful
pregnancy. In addition ultrasonography informs us about the endometrial thickness at the time of ovulation. Endometrium between 9 mm to 13 mm thickness is most conducive for implantation of fertilized egg. Moreover, you can plan the sexual intercourse on and around the day of ovulation which will increase the chances of fertilization.
To find out the patency of the reproductory organs,
Laparoscopy and
Hysterosalpingography are the best and common investigations.
After the reports of these preliminary investigations, if needed, further investigations like
hormonal studies may be suggested.
So instead of just thinking negatively, please report to your Gynaecologist for a thorough work up and management.
I hope this helps you.
