Why Is One Of My Testicles Soft And Pains When Touched?

hi, many years ago i had a testicle that although hadn't dropped as a child, was surgically dropped. Since then and i'm talking years, this left testicle is mushy and painful if touched, this has ruined any chance of a sex life for me due to embarassment... i'm worried about seeing a doctor incase they want it removed... is this something i should be worried about? please help

1.In a post operative case of undescended testis, symptomatic with pain there are several reasons, you need to get it evaluated.
2.Vascular supply, chord compression, epididymis, testicular parenchyma need to be assessed.
3.Do not think of removal of testis - even it is happening there is no harm, as leaving it alone with symptoms may complicate the issue.
4.First thing get an scrotal scan ultrasound done, that will give exact condition if various issues.
5.It can be a simple inflammatory change, which may need a course of antibiotics. So do not delay, get it evaluated as soon as possible. Good luck.
