Why Is The USG Scan Suggestive Of Uterine Fibroids Even Though Menstruation Is Normal?

Uterus myometrium shows multiple subcm, sized lesions s/o seedling fibroids. Fundus of uterus shows an exophytic hypoechoic lesion measuring 1.5 cm. s/o subserosal fibroid. Body of uterus shows a large hypoechoic lesion measuring 68x67 mm arising from right posterior lateral wall abutting the endometrium s/o fibroid. Endometrium is 6.1mm Above one is USG report of uterus Requested to give your kind suggestion. Period is normal for 5 days.

Uterine fibroid is a common and benign (non cancerous) tumor found in females.

In your case the size is small and you don’t have any symptoms like pain or bleeding, so no definite treatment is required.
