hi I had sex on august 31 and I started spotting, and I had full period on September 1st-5ft. and now we are almost at the end of October and I still haven't gotten my period. and yes I took a pregnancy test on the 19 and it came back negative. I was just wondering why is my period almost two months late

Urine pregnancy test if performed correctly is sensitive enough to detect pregnancy. As your pregnancy test is negative, common cause for delayed period is hormonal disturbance. Blood HCG test is more sensitive in confirming or to rule out pregnancy. Once pregnancy is ruled out medications helps in delayed periods. Consult your doctor for examination and prescription of medications.
