Why Is The Palm Of My Hand Painful?

Painful palm of left hand. Pain in thumb side most pain when pressure is applied to the palm side of the thumb. The more pressure or weight the more pain. Pain when trying tO pinch, to touch thumb to any finger with more pain when I try to touch pinky. X-ray = no broken bones. Not an accident or injury.

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you're having painful palm. It seem to inflammatory in nature, may be due to infection. Whether you have fever? If there is fever then you may need to incision and drainage done for infection. Analgesic will be helpful to relieve pain. Elevation and active finger movements will be helpful in relieving swelling.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
