Why Is The Radiation Treatment Not Given To Breast Cancer Patient?

My mother has stage iv breast cancer. It has already fractured her shoulder and her arm. There are tumors in her lungs and also tumors around her adrenal gland area. She has lost 20 lbs and is very weak in her legs. She is 69 and her first masectomy was about 11 years ago and her second one was about 6 years ago. They are no treating her with radiation to keep her comfortable. What can I expect next?

Oncologist, Radiation 's  Response
Radiation can be given in case of one or two sites of disease. No point in subjecting her to radiation with such extensive disease. Multiple areas cannot be treated with radiation it is too toxic.
She can be give pain killers and adjuvants like zoledronic acid and also palliative chemotherapy with single agent if she can tolerate.
If her disease is er/pr postive she can recieve harmonal treatment also.
