Why Is There Blood In My Ejaculate Apart From Mild Discomfort?
Hi, I had blood in my ejaculation, the whole things was brown. I do regularly do semen retention. My urine is also bent to one side recently. Also I have mild discomfort in penis tip but I don’t know if it’s in my head or real. The inside of my urethra is pink mainly but also white bits but it’s all painless. I done an std test but everything was negative. I’m not sure why there was blood in my sperm.
Your urethra is pink but painless. STD tests are negative. Blood in the ejaculate is commonly found due to excessive sexual activity like masturbation, prolonged sexual abstinence, prostatitis, prostate cancer, inflamed testicle-orchitis, epididymitis, vasectomy, testicular cancer, etc.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by a Urologist. Get required tests and investigations done. You will be accordingly treated. Such symptoms are also due to sexually transmitted diseases like chlamydia, herpes, etc. Get repeat STD tests done, if the tests come positive you will be treated with antivirals or antibiotics.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
