Why It Is Recommended Not To Take Tobacco Products When Taking Combination Of Sulfa Drugs, Prednisone, Pyrimethamine?
Why does the Dr. tell you not to take in tobacco probucts when you are taking a combination of Sulfa drugs 500 mg 2 every 6 hours, Predisone 20mg 2 a day & Pyrimethamine 25mg 1 a day for a month. I am very worried due to my son that is 15. I think he might be dipping. From my understanding one can cause cancer (meds).

Hi...no these drugs wont cause cancer... be sure of that...tobacco products are advided against coz compoundz in them may react with these drugs and cause adverse reaction or may decrease the efficacy of these drugs..
