i am 27 yrs old in my first pregnancy was abort by us at 4 month due to spinal defected and am was concived with twins after 4 month which was delivered as premature babies at 7 month now i am concived after 8 months my doctor prescribed loprin75 mg tablet and duphstron 10 mg to me. my question is why she prescribed the tablet to me? my earlier pregnancy i donot took that
Hello there, Due to your previous history of difficult pregnancies the doctor has prescribed duphstron which is a type of progesterone. this ensures your pregnancy hormones are maintained at good levels which would help the baby to be at term. Also Lophrin is aspirin which would prevent any clots being formed in your uterus which in turn prevents premature deliveries. The reason both of these were prescribed is as a safety measure to ensure your baby is healthy.
