Why My Daughter Suffering From Blindness In Both Eyes?

Hi. my daughter is 24 and is throwing up and suffering from blindness in both eyes. She has described it like big black spots when trying to see and her eyes are sore. She is a mother of two one is 3years old and the other 8 month old. We live in southland New Zealand and at this time of night there is only the public hospital available. Should I advise her to go there.

Hello
It seems from the history that your 24 year old daughter is having sudden onset of transient loss of vision in both the eyes. This is because of transient ischemia associated with hypoxia or hypoglycemia. Since she is having vomiting probably she is having infection and dehydration which may be the cause for these symptoms.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
