my ear has been clogged for over a month now at first i thought it was ear wax but it is still clogged sounds are muffled and distorted sound like a blown speaker this happened once before it lasted for about 2 moths it cleared ujp been good for the past 6 months but now its back

There might be two possibilities for the clogging sensation in ear: 1.)Wax formation in the ear-It needs to get cleaned by ENT specialist 2.)Otomycosis-Fungal infection in the ear-It needs to be get cleaned by ENT specialist. 3.) Blockage in the ear due to Eustachian tube Blockage.It is a tube which connects the middle ear with the nose and is responsible for equalization of middle ear pressure with outer atmospheric pressure.In case of blockage of this tube,negative pressure builds up in the middle ear which may lead to fluid collection leading to muffled hearing.In such a case,you may find relief by taking Antihistaminic-Decongestant combination like Levocetrizine+ Phenylephrine.
