Hello,
Betnesol is given during pregnancy when there is a risk of preterm labor or when a preterm delivery is being planned, to improve the fetal lung maturity so that the baby does not face respiratory distress at birth as often happens in preterm deliveries. This is usually given prior to 34 weeks. Please discuss with the consultant as to the cause of the need for this medication, if there is any indication or need for a preterm labor. Susten is not needed any more at this stage. Ask her to take as much bed rest as possible preferably in left lateral position. Hope this helps.
