Hi,

Lamitor contains lamotrigine which is used to treat epilepsy. It is also used to help prevent low mood or depression in people with bipolar disorder. It can take up to 6 weeks for Lamitor to work. Patients may still have fits or seizures or feel low during this period of time. This medication should not be discontinued without talking to the doctor first. Side effects of Lamitor are feeling sleepy, drowsy or dizzy, shaking or tremors, faintness, worsening seizures, feeling sick and many more.

Using Quilonium like lithium with Lamitor like lamotrigine may increase side effects such as dizziness, faintness or passing out, drowsiness, confusion and difficulty concentration. Some people may also experience such as motor coordination, loss of balance, impairment in thinking and judgement.

Using Renuvie like resperidone together with Lamitor like lamotrigine can increase the blood levels of Renuvie or resperidone. This can cause side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, faintness, increase in heart rate, seizures and tremors. Contact her doctor and inform such type of side effects promptly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
