Why Should I Take Susten And Folic Acid While Trying To Conceive?

Am trying to get pregent,my period was delayed 6 days,5 th day i had a intercourse after that i have light bleeding,but it not a regular period,may i know the reason?

One of the doctor adviced me to take susten 300mg tablet & folic acid.why they adviced to take this two tablet?

hello there, im an dental specialist, the reason for taking susten tablet which is nothing but progesteron hormone, it is used for the treatment of dysfunctional uterine bleeding. It is also used for the maintenance of early pregnancy (up to 12th week only) in cases of documented history of repeated miscarriages due to luteal phase defect. whereas folic acid is advised to prevent neural tube defects, since you are trying to conceive, it should be taken during these initial period.
