Hello,

Mnestrual irregularities and breakthrough spotting and bleeding are expected side effects of combined hormonal contraceptives. However, please be advised to take a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. Also follow up with your primary care provider to get urine analysis and culture done to rule out urinary tract infection.

Hope this answers your query
