Why The Bruise Is Not Going Even After A Week?
Hi. My 7 year old daughter smacked the back of her hand on the chair when she was dancin and jumping around and it instantly swelled up. It was white in the middle and bruised around it instantly. I treated it right away with ice. It's been a week now and she still has the bruising but the swelling went down. This happened a week ago.

If there is no swelling,no limitation of movement at nearby joints,if she is playful,no bleeding from any other site,no similar lesion elseware then don't worry.Bruise occurs because of subcutaneous and intradermal bleeding.it takes 7-21 days to heal
