Why The Periods Are Missing After An Unprotected Sex?

me and my girl friend had sex about 25th july ... but i didnt ejaculated inside but we were so worried abt that so she took ipill and she get very light bleeding after 10 days. nw its 4th sep and she still did get her periods, i want to know is there any chance to get pregnent.

Hi,

According to your history, the points towards the possibility of pregnancy are:
- Sometimes preejaculate fluid can contain spermatozoa.
- She didn't get her regular periods.

Points opposite to the possibility of pregnancy are:
- She took emergency contraceptive pill.
- The light spotting, she got after taking the tablet could be withdrawal bleeding due to the pill and sometimes you may consider that as a menstrual period.

Now what you can do is let her go for a blood test for pregnancy, if the serum beta HCG levels in the blood test are less than 5 mIU/mL it rules out the possibility of pregnancy. And you can wait for one more week to get next menstrual period.
