I has a day5 transfer on the 9th and then started bleeding on the 18th, the day of the pregnancy test. The test came back positive but I have not stopped bleeding since. It seems as if it might be getting a bit heavier. Any precautions I need to take in order to have this stop...
Hello, You need to take help of your consultant on this as increasing bleeding is not a good sign for retention of the pregnancy. A sonogram needs to be done to see if all is well and hormone supplements may be needed if there is need professed. Please take absolute bed rest and avoid all stressful activity including sexual intercourse. Take adequate liquids and normal diet. Spotting is sometimes seen at the time of the missed period as a result of implantation of the embryo into the uterine wall, but bleeding is uncommon ans suggests a threatened pregnancy. Hope this helps.
