Why There Is Pain In Upper Abdomen With Bleeding?

Hi I had an abdominal myomectomy almost 6 months ago to remove about 6 fibroids (2lbs) total and I have recoversd very well. I have regular periods no bleeding or pain in between. I kept all of,my gyno appointments and was cleared by my dr. to not have to see him until my regular check up next year. Well the, last 3 days I have had some light bleeding and a little pain in mt upper abdominal area. Should I be concerned?

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

There will be slight pain with abdominal bleeding in case of myomectomy. There is nothing much to worry about this condition. Tranaxemic acids may be required.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
