Why Was My Son S Ear Bleeding After I Tried Cleaning It?

I was cleaning my sons ear, trying to get the wax out with one of those hook like things the docs use and he said his ear started hurting and it was bleeding. He had tubes put in a few years ago and I am uncertain if the tube is still in or not..should I be concerned?

Hello,
I have reviewed your sons history and the procedure you have done.
What you have done is not correct you should not use hook or cotton swab or any metal please. Because you may be introducing the organisms into your sons ear. It may be dreadful. Donot practice such things.
If there is a ear wax you can put some ear drops which dissolve the wax.
My sincere advise is you consult your ENT surgeon.
Thank you.
