Why Were My Stools Dark In Color?

i have just been to the toilet and on passing quite a dark stool i noticed that the water was a pale pink color there was also pink on the toilet paper when i wiped my back passsage. is this something to worry about/ it has never happened before. i also have stomach ache now too.

I really appreciate your concern, what the consistency and the color of stool you noticed are not due to any disease but it seems to be due to the diet taken, and not needs to worry about that, if this persistence then it may require medical attention and then stool needed to be sent for investigation routine and microscopic hope this information helps.
