Why Would An Infant Suffer From Fever And Congestion In Chest?
Hi, I have a 13 month old baby boy. Yesterday night he got up for milk and suddenly choked and I could hear lot of congestion in his chest. Today he has got fever with 100 degree temperature. I gave him tylinol. But he threw up all the food in the evening and still his chest seems to be very congested and I can hear that mucus sound in his throat when ever he is coughing. He do not have any cough. Occasionally he is coughing.
I my opinion you should immediately consult pediatricians with out wasting much time. There are many causes in children for lung congestion. Like cardiac problems, infection of lungs, congenital malformations of lung etc.so consult pediatrician immediately.
