Yes- High blood pressure puts pressure on the the optic nerve and retina, especially if the High blood pressure is chronic or if the blood pressure is extremely high such as, an Hypertensive Crisis - B/P 200/120 a person may complain of BLURRED VISION, RETINAL HEMORRAGES- CAN LEAD TO BLINDNESS!AND IS OFTEN A WARNING SIGN OF A STROKE!!
