Will Femilon Be Effective For The Rest 21 Days From Today?
my period date is 9th May. I started femilon on 16th of may at bed time (post 7 days of period) for the first time as a contraceptive tablet . will it be effective for the rest 21 days from today onwards. Is it ok to get initmate anytime during these 21 day period of taking tablet daily at regular time. Please advice .

Femilon will be effective only after 7 days.
If you start taking Femilon within 5 days after the period, the pills will be effective in preventing the pregnancy straightaway. However, since you have started taking Femilon from 7 days of your menstrual cycle, you'll need backup contraception for a week, so plan to use a condom, female condom, sponge or diaphragm if you have sex during that first week.
