Will Gonal-F, Low Dose HCG, Prednisone, Low Dose Naltroxene, Cetrotide, And Synthroid Trigger Early Ovulation?

I am currently in an IVF treatment cycle--taking Gonal-F, low dose HCG, prednisone, low dose naltroxene, Cetrotide, and Synthroid. Is it safe for me to have an HSG conducted tomorrow, or will that trigger early ovulation? My egg retrieval is scheduled 4 days from now.

Hi,

Goal F is a drug that helps in maturity of unripe follicle and it's given to ladies who have failure of this and so lack of conception. HCG is a hormone produced by early conception helps in thickening of wall of uterus, stopping menstruation and rise in hormones estrogen and progesterone. All these hormones help growth and stability of early pregnancy.

Prednisone dose not have any evidence to support conception but few people believe that allergies for the sperms / semen (which can prevent conception) can be controlled by this drug and thus it helps conception in allergy factor working. Naltroxin is supposed to prevent early abortions after conception. In short, all of these are proffered by few doctors to use in assisted conception cases. So if your treating doctor advises, please go for them.
