Hi! I had medical abortion tablets a week ago on thursday(1 mifepristone) . I had light bleeding and notice a small clot. On saturday 24hrs later, took 4x200mcg misoprostol (3 bucally and 1 vaginally). I had anticipated much cramping and heavy bleeding on taking misoprostol that i had taken 500mg paracetamol every 1/2 hour after taking misoprostol ( i had taken total of about 4 tablets of the painkillers) . i had with hot water bottle as well. But to my surprise, i hardly felt any cramps , just a few mild waves in my abdomen accompanied by hot flushes.I took another 4 tablets of misoprostol the next night (30hrs later) vaginally and felt no cramping. Besides passing 2 or 3 small clots (1 inch approx.), i only had regular bleeding for a couple of days followed by light spots. Its been a week since but my spotting has almost stopped as well. Should i worry of incomplete abortion? I feel flutters in my abdomen from time to time esp. at bed time. I still feel heavy around my abdomen. My feeling of nausea and tender breast has gone. I dont remember the actual week of my last period but im certain i had my period in the month of december. Im 30 yrs old. Im scared of surgical operation and im concerned if the pills are having no effect on me. Will my body be able to expel the fetus (in case of incomplete abortion) naturally? How long should i wait before it gets dangerous?
